Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with BAE Systems—a global leader in defence, aerospace, and security—to source an ambitious and driven Undergraduate Electronic Systems Engineer for a 12-month industrial placement in Rochester.

Working within the Electronic Systems team, you will contribute to the collaborative development, validation, and maintenance of advanced commercial and military equipment, ranging from Head-Up and Head-Worn Displays (such as the Striker II Helmet) to flight control computers and active control sticks.
Requirement Management: Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to develop, validate, and maintain rigorous product requirements.
Model-Based Engineering: Contribute to system development utilizing modern Model Based Engineering (MBE) approaches.
Analysis & Modeling: Create theoretical analyses and model behavioral scenarios or system performance to evaluate operation and interactions.
Laboratory Testing: Conduct hands-on lab testing of real-time systems comprising interdependent electronic, mechanical, optical, and software components.
Education: On track to achieve a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in any STEM subject.
Security Clearance: All applicants must, as a minimum, achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Due to security and export control restrictions, certain roles require continuous UK residency (typically 5 to 10 years) to satisfy National Security Vetting. Nationality and place of birth restrictions may apply.
