The Opportunity
We are partnering with an innovative team transforming how satellite and airborne imagery is utilized, developing advanced software that automatically detects, tracks, and understands activity across vast geographic areas.
They are looking for a visionary Lead Python Software Engineer to spearhead the development of cutting-edge computer-vision and geospatial capabilities that turn complex imagery into vital, actionable intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and development of scalable Python geospatial applications and analytical tools.
Drive the design of advanced computer-vision and object-detection machine learning models.
Oversee the processing of complex satellite, aerial, and sensor imagery.
Architect high-throughput imagery-processing pipelines.
Lead the deployment of mission-critical analytical capabilities into secure operational environments.
What We’re Looking For
Extensive commercial software engineering experience with Python.
Proven leadership background building machine learning, deep learning, or computer vision models.
Deep understanding of high-volume data pipelines and production software engineering standards.
Solid hands-on experience working with imagery, geospatial data (GIS), or remote sensing technologies.
Familiarity with PyTorch, FastAPI, GeoPandas, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and cloud/GPU container environments (AWS, Kubernetes) is highly advantageous.
