Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their Kiveton Park facility—employing over 500 colleagues as the UK's largest quiche bakery, producing over 42 million quiche each year alongside ready meals—we are currently seeking a dedicated Hygiene Senior Operator to lead the team and maintain exceptional cleanliness standards on the night shift.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Hands-On Cleaning: Lead the hygiene team while undertaking hands-on cleaning of factory equipment and production areas to strict schedules and high standards.
Stock & Resource Management: Monitor and report on stock levels to assist the Hygiene Team Leader in keeping all areas fully stocked with cleaning products and equipment.
Safety & Chemical Dilution: Ensure the safe and efficient use of cleaning chemicals at correct dilutions, strictly conforming to Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
Documentation & Communication: Complete required paperwork accurately, maintain discretion when working in confidential areas, and communicate regularly with the Hygiene Team Leader.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Essential hands-on experience working in a hygiene-based role; team management experience is ideal.
Certifications: Health & Safety Level 2, Food Safety Level 2, and COSHH Awareness.
Skills & Traits: Excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently when needed, willingness to learn across different site areas, and strong capability in following written instructions.
