Mentor Coordinator (Pastoral Leader)

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Lift Schools for a Mentor Coordinator (Pastoral Leader) to join Lift Unity City Academy in Middlesbrough, UK.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional from youth work, social care, education or criminal justice to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people. Working in partnership with MCR Pathways, you will coordinate a mentoring programme that supports care-experienced and disadvantaged students, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Build positive one-to-one mentoring relationships with students.
Deliver engaging group sessions for Year 7 and Year 8 pupils.
Recruit, support and coordinate volunteer mentors.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate programme records.
Work closely with school staff and external partners.
Report safeguarding concerns in line with school policies.
Encourage student wellbeing, confidence and personal development.
Promote the success of the mentoring programme across the school.

What We're Looking For

Experience in youth work, education, social care or criminal justice.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational and data management abilities.
Passion for supporting young people to succeed.
Ability to motivate and inspire both students and volunteer mentors.
