Key Responsibilities:
Menu Planning & Seasonality: Create exciting, seasonal menus that ensure freshness and delight for our residents.
Food Management: Oversee food preparation, presentation, and taste, ensuring nothing short of perfection while minimising kitchen waste.
Recipe Development: Design innovative dishes that align with resident needs and kitchen capabilities.
Budget Mastery: Manage food and labour costs efficiently while delivering exceptional dining experiences.
What We Are Looking For
We welcome talented chefs from all hospitality backgrounds—while care experience is wonderful, it is not essential!
Experience: Proven experience working as a Chef.
Qualifications: Holder of a valid food hygiene certificate or equivalent.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of kitchen numbers, margins, and budgeting.
Requirements: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance of the care home.
