Supportive Bridge is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Regional Gardener to support Shockerwick House and Trowbridge Oaks Care Homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced gardener to maintain and enhance the outdoor spaces of two care homes, creating safe, attractive, and peaceful environments for residents, visitors, and colleagues. A company van is provided, and a full driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain gardens, lawns, flower beds, trees, and shrubs to a high standard.
Design and create seasonal flower displays for indoor and outdoor areas.
Carry out grass cutting, trimming, pruning, weed control, and general grounds maintenance.
Keep pathways, paved areas, and outdoor spaces clean and safe.
Maintain gardening equipment, storage areas, and the company van.
Support the maintenance team with basic decorating and maintenance tasks when required.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence.
Minimum three years' experience in gardening or grounds maintenance.
Horticultural qualification or equivalent practical experience.
Knowledge of horticultural practices and health and safety legislation.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with painting and decorating is desirable.
