Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is pleased to recruit on behalf of Care UK, an award-winning care provider seeking an enthusiastic Host to join their team in Edinburgh, UK. This entry-level role offers full training, clear career development pathways, and health and wellbeing support within a collaborative care home environment.

In this resident-focused role, you will enhance the daily dining experience for residents by providing excellent customer service, maintaining dining room cleanliness, and assisting in the kitchen with dishwashing when needed. You will prepare dining spaces ahead of meals, keep the Bistro area replenished, and help organize special events and celebrations held within the home.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up dining rooms prior to meals, keep the Bistro area stocked, and maintain dining area cleanliness checklists.

• Provide attentive customer service during mealtimes, foster social interaction among residents, and assist in the kitchen with dishwashing duties.

• Support care home hospitality operations and assist with special events and resident social functions.

Requirements

• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or willingness to complete within 12 weeks of starting).

• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills paired with a friendly, customer-focused approach.

• Previous experience in catering or food service is beneficial, but not essential.
