About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Co-op to recruit a dynamic and motivated Customer Team Leader for their busy store on Bridge Road in Edinburgh.

This is a fantastic stepping stone toward store management. You will lead a small, close-knit team in a fast-paced retail environment, delivering essential services and ensuring a great shopping experience for the local community—including hands-on involvement with our in-store bakery.

• Working Pattern: Varied shifts including early mornings (store opening from 5:30 AM), afternoons, late evenings (store closing at 10:00 PM), and at least 1 weekend shift (to be discussed at interview). The role will include working in our in-store bakery.

• Key Responsibilities: Own the day-to-day running of the store during your shift, motivate and coach team members, manage merchandising and stock accuracy, work in our in-store bakery, and authorize age-related sales.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management skills (prior retail management experience is welcome, but not essential—full training is provided).

• Age Requirement: You must be aged 18 or older to authorize age-related sales and handle early/late shift requirements.

• Location: You must live within a commutable distance of Edinburgh.
