Position: Dental Nurse Advisor (NHS 111)
Location: Derby or Chesterfield, United Kingdom
Salary/Hourly Rates:
Training and daytime shifts: £13.94 per hour
Evenings and night shifts: £18.12 per hour
Weekend shifts: £20.20 per hour
Annual equivalent range: £27,273 – £29,929
Working Pattern: Part-Time (30 hours per week, late rota with availability required between 14:00 and 23:00)
Closing Date: 1 September 2026
About the Role
As a Dental Nurse Advisor with our supportive bridge staffing agency, you will join our dynamic NHS 111 team, making every call count for patients in urgent need of dental advice. Operating from Derby or Chesterfield, you will be a vital lifeline, offering safe, compassionate guidance day and night to ensure patients are connected to the right care services.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and triage dental patients using NHS Pathways, delivering safe, clinically sound, and effective advice.
Provide clear, compassionate communication and expertly signpost patients to appropriate dental or emergency healthcare services.
Handle NHS 111 calls efficiently while accurately recording patient information and escalating concerns when necessary.
Maintain strict adherence to GDC standards, clinical governance, confidentiality, and safeguarding requirements.
Work collaboratively alongside multidisciplinary colleagues to adapt to the shifting demands of the 24/7 service.
