As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, remaining aware of any changes impacting care and care plans to ensure new needs are met and written records are updated.
Participate actively in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Support residents with their medication requirements.
Undertake staff supervisions and support team members with their professional development.
Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, visitors, and healthcare professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and any concerns or complaints are escalated appropriately.

Qualifications & Experience: Must hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes, along with at least 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
Skills & Attributes: Strong verbal and written communication skills, a positive and nurturing attitude toward supporting residents and staff, and the responsiveness and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
Requirements: Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a DBS disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
