About the Role
As a Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Dispensing Assistant (ACDA) at Asda Chatham, you’ll play a crucial role in our in-store pharmacy, delivering warmth, friendliness, and professional care to our customers. You will be responsible for conducting final accuracy checks on dispensed medicines, verifying patient details, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the Pharmacist with patient services (like blood pressure checks and health schemes). What We Are Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience: Must hold an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services/Dispensing Assistant qualification via a GPhC accredited route, have at least 6 months of continuous employment within the pharmacy industry (hospital or community), and successfully pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
Friendly & Organised: Naturally approachable with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping people.
Resilient: Able to work under pressure, maintain absolute accuracy in a busy environment, and solve problems effectively.
Flexible: Willing to work a range of shifts, with weekend working required as part of the role.
