The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Data Project Manager to join a major Salesforce transformation programme on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a key delivery role focused on managing data-related workstreams across a complex Salesforce environment. You will ensure that data is effectively migrated, cleansed, transformed, governed, and integrated as part of a wider business transformation, working from discovery and design all the way through to migration, testing, and go-live.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and own the end-to-end Salesforce data workstream across the transformation programme.
Develop and manage detailed data migration plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Coordinate complex data extraction, cleansing, transformation, mapping, migration, and validation activities.
Partner closely with Salesforce architects, developers, internal data teams, business SMEs, and external suppliers.
Manage data risks, issues, dependencies, and project governance (RAID) throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure stringent data quality and integrity are maintained throughout the entire migration process.
Coordinate data migration testing, reconciliation, defect resolution, and business sign-off.
Provide clear, transparent reporting on progress, risks, and critical decisions to senior stakeholders.
Support cutover planning and key data migration activities leading smoothly into go-live.
What We’re Looking For
Proven track record of experience operating as a Project Manager or Programme Manager delivering Salesforce data projects.
Strong, practical understanding of Salesforce data structures, migration processes, and data quality standards.
Extensive experience managing complex data migration or enterprise transformation workstreams.
Strong stakeholder management skills across both business and technical audiences.
Experience working directly with Salesforce implementation teams and third-party suppliers.
Sound knowledge of project governance, planning, and hybrid/Agile delivery methodologies.
Desirable: Experience with Salesforce Data Loader or other specialized migration tools; data mapping and reconciliation expertise; prior exposure to large-scale transformations or holding Salesforce certifications.
