About the Role
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Food and Beverage Team Member (Bank) to join the award-winning team at Acer Court Care Home, operated by Avery Healthcare. In this flexible bank role, you will play a key part in supporting our dining service, helping residents select and enjoy their meals, and maintaining an immaculate, welcoming front-of-house environment across our dining and bistro areas.
Key Responsibilities
Support residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining and assist with meal service as required.
Ensure dining tables are immaculately set in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Keep the front of house clean, tidy, and well-presented, ensuring dirty crockery is removed promptly.
Maintain and replenish accessible bistro areas throughout the day with fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods, and fresh fruit options.
Maintain a thorough awareness of residents' specific dietary requirements and preferences.
Candidate Requirements
Standards & Hygiene: Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene at all times. (A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial but not strictly mandatory).
Experience: Previous experience working in a similar hospitality, restaurant, or hotel setting is desirable.
