Bank Head Housekeeper

In this key supervisory position, you will lead and support the housekeeping and laundry team to ensure exemplary standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the home. You will oversee rota management and domestic budgets, supervise and encourage team development, and collaborate with residents and families to ensure all care and environmental needs are met to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the housekeeping team, ensuring efficient shift allocation and active staff development.

• Manage domestic rotas and departmental budgets while upholding strict cleaning, hygiene, and infection control standards.

• Oversee resident laundry services, attend resident/relative meetings, and ensure all living spaces are maintained to a high standard of comfort and tidiness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within housekeeping, domestic, or facility cleaning environments.

• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated capability in rota coordination and basic budget management.
