About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable, caring Care Assistant (Nights) on a full-time fixed-term basis (39 hours per week) on behalf of Claybourne in Stoke-on-Trent, a supportive and purpose-led home with a strong focus on specialist dementia support.
In this role, you will provide compassionate personal and social care during night hours, acting as a keyworker and helping maintain an atmosphere of mutual respect, safety, and dignity for residents.
What You Will Need
A Caring & Respectful Approach: Genuine sensitivity, patience, and empathy for older people.
Experience: Previous care experience is desirable, though a natural caring nature and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
Teamwork & Initiative: The ability to work both independently during night shifts and cooperatively as part of a dedicated team.
Flexibility & Proximity: A flexible approach to working across a rota, including weekends. Ideally living within 15 miles of Stoke-on-Trent (ST6 6LA) for a manageable commute.
