At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting dedicated Care Assistants (Twilight / Evenings) on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the team at Whitewater Place Care Home in Odiham.
In this vital role, you will assist residents with their evening routines, providing dignified personal care, supper/drink support, and warm companionship. Whether assisting residents with bed preparation, following individual care plans, or sharing quiet one-on-one time, your dedicated support ensures every resident feels safe, valued, and comfortable during the evening hours.
Key Responsibilities
Evening Care Routines: Assist residents with evening personal care, mobility, bedtime preparations, and settling in for the night.
Nutrition & Hydration: Help serve evening meals, suppers, and night-time hot drinks in accordance with residents' nutritional plans.
Companionship: Offer warm, reassuring conversation and emotional support to residents during the quiet evening hours.
Care Plan Accuracy: Follow individualized care plans closely and maintain clear, accurate handover notes for the night team.
About You
Experience: Prior experience in caring for older individuals (in a professional care setting or personal capacity).
Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong empathy, and a proactive "can-do" approach.
Qualities: Dependable, warm-hearted, and genuinely passionate about delivering high standards of elderly care.
