About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with The Blackheath Hospital in London—part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a dedicated Housekeeper for their Hotel Services department.
In this vital role, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and pleasant environment across patient, public, and employee areas, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and presentation throughout the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning Operations: Undertake day-to-day cleaning duties across patient rooms, public spaces, and employee areas.
Environment Maintenance: Ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
Stock Management: Regularly replenish linen and general consumables.
Departmental Flexibility: Provide cover across all departments—including theatre areas—and occasionally at other Circle Health Group sites when required.
Documentation: Complete daily task sheets accurately and submit them to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing purposes.
Compliance: Fully comply with all relevant mandatory training and safety policies.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Literacy: Competency in basic literacy and numeracy; Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C (or equivalent functional skills Level 2 evidence).
Communication: Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC use, including navigating software and computer systems.
