About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse (RMN, RNLD, or RGN) on behalf of a specialist healthcare provider in Broadway, Worcestershire.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to service users.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalised care plans.
Support young people and young adults with eating disorders and associated mental health conditions.
Administer medication and treatments in accordance with professional standards.
Monitor, observe, and accurately document changes in patients' physical and mental wellbeing.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff where appropriate.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with professional, regulatory, and organisational standards.
Promote a safe, therapeutic, and person-centred care environment.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

A recognised Nursing qualification (RMN, RNLD, or RGN).
Current NMC registration.
Evidence of completed Preceptorship.
Previous nursing experience within the UK healthcare sector.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong teamwork and organisational abilities.
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.

About the Service

The successful candidate will work within a specialist eating disorder service supporting young people aged 13–17 years and young adults aged 18–25 years.

The service provides specialist assessment, treatment, and recovery support for individuals experiencing eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, alongside other mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and, where appropriate, learning disabilities.

The multidisciplinary team is dedicated to helping patients achieve recovery through personalised treatment plans, therapeutic interventions, family involvement, and educational support where required.
