About the Role
We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit a dedicated and hands-on Assistant Farm Manager for their modern agricultural operations in Little Kelk. Key Responsibilities
Livestock Welfare & Husbandry: Ensure the optimum environmental conditions, health, and high performance of livestock, including feeding, vaccinating, and grading birds.
Biosecurity & Site Standards: Maintain exceptional hygiene, biosecurity, and animal husbandry standards across a modern, high-tech farm environment.
Team Supervision: Supervise staff and contractors while ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Operations & Maintenance: Oversee site maintenance, manage farm costs effectively, maintain accurate records in line with legislation, and cover for the Farm Manager during absences.

What We Are Looking For
Experience & Qualifications: Previous livestock experience (poultry background preferred, though full training is provided). NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Poultry Production or Agriculture is desirable.
Essentials: Own transport and a valid driving licence are essential due to the need to travel between sites.
Skills & Attitude: Strong communication and people skills, basic IT literacy, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently on manual tasks.
Important Requirement: Due to strict Bird Welfare regulations, applicants must not keep avian pets, poultry, or pigs.
