At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting dedicated Bank General Assistants on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the team at St Thomas Care Home in Basingstoke.
In this versatile support position, you will play an essential part in maintaining a clean, safe, and homely environment for residents. You will assist across key operational departments—including domestic housekeeping, general cleaning, laundry services, and catering assistance—while building warm, friendly relationships with residents throughout your day.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Department Support: Carry out varied tasks across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry management, and kitchen/dining support depending on home needs.
Homely Environment: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across resident bedrooms, communal lounges, and dining areas.
Warm Resident Engagement: Interact respectfully, compassionately, and warmly with residents while conducting daily support duties.
Flexible Coverage: Step in on a casual bank basis during day shifts to provide key operational cover for staff leave, sickness, or busy periods.
