Salary: £12.85 - £13.85 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent | 30 hours per week (to include alternate weekends)

The Role
As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you will ensure that every corner of our care home sparkles. You will lead a dedicated team of housekeepers and laundry assistants, inspiring them to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene while making our residents feel safe, comfortable, and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure high standards of cleanliness across the home, working closely with maintenance and management teams to keep every room well-maintained.
Lead by example through hands-on cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and overseeing the upkeep of communal areas and resident bedrooms.
Supervise housekeeping and laundry assistants, managing staff rotas, organizing necessary training, and ensuring domestic items are well-stocked.
Build warm relationships with residents, their families, and multidisciplinary care colleagues.
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in a housekeeping or domestic role, with a strong commitment to maintaining an organised environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to confidently lead, motivate, prioritize, and delegate tasks to a team.
An approachable, caring nature and a genuine enjoyment of getting to know care home residents.
Note: Please be aware that this role is not at or above RQF Level 3 and is ineligible for sponsorship under the UK's Points-Based Immigration System.
