Supportive Bridge is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our trusted custodial and healthcare partners for a dedicated Senior Forensic Psychologist.
Based within the Psychological Services team at HMP Ashfield, you will play a pivotal role in delivering evidence-based assessments, formulations, and interventions that directly support safer outcomes and meaningful rehabilitation. By shaping psychological services and fostering a rehabilitative culture, your expertise will help individuals build a more positive future.
Clinical Delivery: Deliver high-quality psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions.
Professional Consultancy: Provide expert advice within multidisciplinary meetings, including MAPPA and Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) pathway discussions.
Supervision & Mentoring: Offer professional supervision, training, and mentoring to Forensic Psychologists, Forensic Psychologists in Training (FPiTs), and intervention colleagues.
Risk Assessment & Tribunals: Complete forensic risk assessments and act as a professional expert witness in parole boards and multi-agency settings.
Service Development: Contribute to ongoing research, data collection, and service improvement across Psychological Services.
Professional Registration: Chartered and Registered status with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Society Membership: Full membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Forensic Psychology Division.
Experience: Proven practical experience working with individuals with complex needs in forensic, custodial, or secure settings.
Approach & Standards: A collaborative, positive mindset committed to maintaining high professional standards, ongoing CPD, and accreditation requirements.
Vetting & Security: This role requires an Enhanced DBS check and completion of an Occupational Health Questionnaire.
