About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is thrilled to partner with Yusen Logistics, a global supply chain leader, to recruit a reliable and adaptable Warehouse Operative (Nights) for their brand-new Sustainable Distribution Centre in Northampton.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new operation from the ground up. Whether you are an experienced warehouse professional or looking to kickstart your logistics career with full training provided, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth night-shift operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Goods Handling: Safely load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and equipment.

• System & Equipment Operation: Complete training for site technology, using warehouse management systems to efficiently manage workloads and process paperwork.

• Adaptability: Show a high level of flexibility as day-to-day duties evolve alongside the growth of this brand-new operation.

• Health & Safety Focus: Strictly adhere to all health and safety policies to maintain a secure environment for all team members.

• Continuous Improvement: Share insights, ideas, or operational concerns with management to help optimize processes and drive efficiency.

What You Will Bring

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar fast-paced environment is ideal, but a willingness to learn and adapt is key (full training provided!).

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

• A good understanding of safe manual handling practices.

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well within a team.

• A current FLT, Counterbalance, Reach Truck, or Pallet Stacker licence (or a keen willingness to obtain one).

• Note: Applicants must hold the legal right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available for this role).
