Supportive Bridge is recruiting on behalf of Elysium Healthcare for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join Rosebank House in Reading, Berkshire, UK.

This flexible bank opportunity is ideal for experienced Healthcare Assistants or Support Workers looking for greater control over their work schedule. Working on a zero-hour contract, you can choose shifts that suit your lifestyle while providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs in a specialist rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centred care to service users.
Support individuals with daily living activities and recovery goals.
Promote independence, wellbeing and dignity.
Monitor and report changes in service users' condition.
Work collaboratively with nurses and the multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
Ensure a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment.
Follow safeguarding, health & safety and organisational policies.
Deliver high standards of care during day, night and weekend shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker in the UK.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient and professional approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible availability for bank shifts.
Commitment to delivering high-quality care.
