About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Product Integrity Manager, this role focuses on the Product Safety, Environmental, and Security aspects of advanced weapon systems. You will provide specialist Product Integrity expertise to project teams involved in developing military equipment and associated sub-systems across the full product lifecycle—from initial concept and design through to manufacture, implementation, and in-service support.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead Product Integrity activities covering safety, environmental, and security disciplines across the entire product lifecycle.
Support the development and implementation of Product Integrity strategies to ensure full compliance with contractual, regulatory, and legal requirements.
Conduct robust risk analyses and safety assessments, including hazard identification, safety studies, and maintenance of risk management records.
Provide specialist technical advice, guidance, and assurance to multidisciplinary project teams, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive Product Integrity governance documentation, compliance evidence, and safety reports.
What We Are Looking For (Essential Skills & Qualifications):
Professional Experience: Demonstrable background in Product Safety and Product Integrity engineering within complex environments.
Hazard Analysis Expertise: Proficiency in recognized hazard analysis techniques such as PHA, FMECA, HAZOP, and FTA.
Collaboration & Communication: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external customers, providing authoritative technical guidance.
Educational Background: Ideally hold a degree or HND in a relevant Engineering discipline, supported by proven practical engineering experience.
Security Note: Due to defense and export control restrictions, all applicants must achieve at least a Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Higher levels of National Security Vetting may apply where required.
