At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting compassionate Bank Care Assistants on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the dedicated care team at Newington Court Care Home in Sittingbourne, Kent.

In this rewarding bank role, you will step in on a casual basis to assist residents with their daily living routines, delivering dignified personal care, mealtime assistance, and warm companionship. Every shift is different and deeply fulfilling—whether you are aiding with mobility, following tailored care plans, or spending dedicated one-on-one time sharing stories and creating memorable moments with residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Person-Centered Care: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and day-to-day support in accordance with individual care plans.

• Nutrition & Hydration: Support residents during mealtimes with food and beverage intake, encouraging proper nutrition.

• Companionship & Wellbeing: Spend meaningful one-on-one time with residents, fostering a safe, comforting, and reassuring home environment.

• Flexible Shift Cover: Provide essential cover across day or night shifts as needed for annual leave, sickness, or peak home demands.

About You

• Experience: Prior experience caring for older people (in a professional setting or personal capacity).

• Skills & Mindset: Excellent communication skills, strong empathy, and a practical "can-do" attitude.
