About this role
Avery Healthcare is looking for a night Care Assistant at Birchmere Mews Care Home in Knowle, Solihull, part of its network of over 100 homes for older people.
What you will do:
- Deliver high standards of personal care and help residents with personal hygiene, protecting their independence and dignity
- Spot clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls and infection, and report them promptly
- Treat residents and visitors with courtesy and respect
- Follow safe systems of work and contribute fully to the care team
What they are looking for: someone who shares Avery's values of being caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable, communicates well verbally and in writing, shows initiative and can adapt at short notice. Experience is not required, as a full induction and training programme is provided.
Requirements: a DBS check, paid for by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK. The advert may be withdrawn early depending on applications.
Hours: full time, night shifts.
Pay stated by Avery Healthcare: £12.85 per hour.
