About this role
Leonard Cheshire is looking for Support Workers at Alemoor Crescent in the Restalrig area of Edinburgh, a friendly home for six adults with various disabilities. Full-time and part-time permanent roles are available; you need to be flexible to work weekday and weekend shifts on a rota (mornings, afternoons and long days).
What you will do:
- Help with daily living, including personal care, mealtimes and medication
- Encourage independence with a person-centred approach
- Go with people to appointments, events and community activities
- Help each person live life on their own terms
- Keep clear, accurate records

- A warm, friendly and caring approach, good communication and teamwork
- A PVG check and references
Pay stated by the employer: £13.75 per hour. Benefits stated by the employer: 30 days' holiday including bank holidays (rising by a day each year to 35), Stream (access up to 40% of pay before payday), a free Blue Light Card, a contributory pension with life cover, a health cash plan, apprenticeships and qualifications, free PVG membership and a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme.
