As a Deputy Manager, your focus will be to support the General Manager in operating a compliant, effective, and person-centred care home. You will help provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for residents and visitors while meeting stringent professional, statutory standards, and commercial performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
Ensure medication policies and procedures are strictly adhered to, assisting with medication reviews and administration.
Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, remaining vigilant to any changes impacting their care and care plans.
Complete monthly audits, quality indicator reports, and any other necessary documentation.
Attend weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas within the home.

Experience: A minimum of two years of experience working in a similar care environment in a management position.
Skills & Attributes: Excellent leadership and management skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and competence in using IT systems. You must also be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements: Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a DBS disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
