Pay: £16.30 - £16.80 per hour (Earn an extra £2.00/hr on Bank Holidays and £3.50/hr for night shifts)

Hours: Permanent, Full-Time (30 to 40 hour contract, various shifts)

Experience: Management/Leadership experience required

About the Role

We are looking for an organised, reliable Shift Manager to keep operations running like clockwork at Lidl in Clapham. You will take real responsibility for the shop floor, motivate your team, and ensure high standards are met every single day.

What You Will Do

• Lead the team: Motivate your colleagues, delegate tasks quickly, and create a great working environment.

• Run the store: Take charge of cash processes, stock levels, inventory, and product freshness.

• Help customers: Make sure every shopper gets the best experience possible.

• Step up: Confidently manage store operations and lead the team when senior managers are away.

What You Need

• Clear experience leading a team and hitting targets in a busy, fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills to assign tasks fairly and keep the team focused.

• A friendly, patient attitude and the ability to stay completely calm under pressure.
