Salary: £24,544 per annum (Band 2.0, pro rata for part-time/bank)
Contract Type: Bank (zero hours) and Permanent Part-Time/Full-Time options available (including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays)

About the Role
As a Patient Service Assistant with our supportive bridge staffing agency, you will be the welcoming, friendly face patients see when they arrive at our primary care and urgent care centers in Chesterfield and Derby. Acting as the crucial first point of contact, you will guide patients smoothly through their care journey, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and valued from the moment they walk through the door or call for assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and support patients attending the Primary Care and Urgent Treatment Centres with empathy and professionalism.
Manage incoming phone calls and coordinate patient appointments efficiently.
Accurately capture, input, and manage patient data and clinical records using systems such as Adastra.
Provide comprehensive administrative support, including data collation and coordination.
Maintain a safe, welcoming, organized, and professional reception environment.
Act as a seamless link between patients, clinicians, nurse practitioners, and external partners to ensure coordinated care delivery.
