About the Role
As a Night Care Assistant, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents during night shifts, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and peace of mind throughout the evening and early morning hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Nighttime Support: Assist residents with evening routines, personal care, night checks, and preparing for the morning.
Care Plan Execution: Follow individual care plans and risk assessments to deliver tailored, safe, and dignified support.
Safety & Comfort: Maintain a quiet, restful environment and respond promptly to resident calls and needs throughout the night.
Teamwork: Work closely with night carers and senior staff, providing key handover details to the morning team.
About You
We are looking for warm-hearted, compassionate care assistants with strong communication skills and a reliable approach to night shifts.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience caring for older adults (in professional or personal care settings).
Skills: Excellent communication, active listening, and a proactive, can-do mindset.
