About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, resilient, and visionary Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead (RN) for a full-time, permanent position in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire.
Working closely alongside the General Manager and stepping into full operational command during their absence, you will drive clinical excellence and motivate a multidisciplinary team. You will lead by example through clinical supervision, regular quality audits, and regulatory compliance checks—ensuring every resident experiences an exceptional quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the General Manager in all operational duties and assuming full leadership in their absence.
Leading, mentoring, and supervising nursing and care teams through clinical practice supervision and preceptorship support.
Monitoring care standards through rigorous audits, risk assessments, and safeguarding investigations.
Maintaining full regulatory compliance (CQC) and upholding evidence-based clinical protocols.
Supporting HR management, team performance, budget monitoring, and care home sales/marketing strategies.
About You
Registration & Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with active NMC registration and a recognized teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification.
Clinical Leadership: Proven track record in clinical care management, safeguarding investigations, risk assessments, and supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
Management Competencies: Experience in HR processes, budget management, and care home sales/marketing.
