ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a flexible, casual role designed to cover planned and unplanned absences (such as annual leave or sickness cover). As a Bank Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping residents enjoy each day by delivering person-centred care, personal support, and warm companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily activities, including personal care, mobility support, and mealtime assistance.
Follow individual care plans to ensure every resident receives tailored care and support.
Spend quality one-to-one time with residents to build trust and foster a welcoming, cheerful atmosphere.
Work collaboratively with the care home team to ensure resident safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a reliable, warm-hearted individual who possesses a genuine passion for supporting older adults and the flexibility to cover day shifts as needed.
Requirements & Experience:
Prior experience caring for older people (in a professional or care setting).
A positive, "can-do" attitude and clear communication skills.
High levels of empathy, patience, and compassion for resident care.
Willingness to learn and expand your skills through fully supported training.
