About the Role
As a key member of the FTEWA (Force Threat Evaluation & Weapon Assignment) team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and continuous improvement of the Software Factory used to build critical software products. Operating within an Agile/DevSecOps environment, you will develop solutions and implement technical capabilities that bring the Product Owner's vision to life.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and development of software factory components within a defined technical architecture.
Utilize Agile/DevSecOps approaches for the creation, modification, and testing of code modules as part of a wider product solution.
Participate actively in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver robust software factory solutions.
What We Are Looking For (Essential Skills & Qualifications):
Educational Background: An academic qualification in a STEM-related subject, alongside the ability and willingness to attain Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status through a recognized professional institution.
Technical Experience: Solid knowledge and experience working with CI/CD pipelines, automated build, testing, and release processes.
DevSecOps Proficiency: Capable of understanding technical guidance within a DevSecOps framework and translating it into useful, reusable design and code artifacts.
Security Note: Due to defense and export control restrictions, all applicants must achieve at least a Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Higher levels of National Security Vetting may apply where required.
