About the Role
As a Bank Residential Senior Carer, you will step in to lead shifts and maintain exceptional care standards, ensuring residents receive personalized, dignified support whether you work day or night shifts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Shift Leadership: Directing care staff, delegating duties effectively, conducting supervisions, and offering hands-on guidance on shift.
Clinical & Medication Management: Administering and ordering medication, alongside reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments.
External Collaboration: Liaising professionally with GPs, district nursing teams, social care teams, and family members.
Person-Centred Environment: Fostering a dignified, warm, and engaging atmosphere that honors individual resident choices.
About You
We are seeking a warm-hearted, highly organized care leader with proven decision-making skills and a strong background in residential care.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Qualification: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience: Proven experience working in a residential care setting with demonstrated team leadership abilities.
Core Competencies: Confident in shift management, medication handling, care planning, and multidisciplinary communication.
