About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are thrilled to partner with B&M to help you secure an important role as a Retail Security Officer in Yiewsley, West Drayton. In this permanent full-time position, you will work closely with the Store Management Team to safeguard people, products, and the store environment while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Store Monitoring: Actively monitor the retail floor to identify, prevent, and report security incidents.
CCTV Operations: Operate and review CCTV systems in strict alignment with company policies.
Health & Safety: Support the enforcement of health and safety procedures across the store.
Investigations & Resolution: Conduct investigations into stock loss, theft, and fraud while resolving challenging situations calmly and effectively.
Requirements & Ideal Candidate Profile
Composure & Judgement: Alert, calm under pressure, with sound judgement, honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to handle difficult conversations professionally.
Experience: Similar security experience is not strictly essential, but the ability to follow procedures and remain composed is a must.
Attitude: A supportive, customer-focused team player who takes pride in doing the right thing.
