As a Bank Senior Care Assistant, you will step in to provide high-quality cover during planned or unplanned staff absences (such as annual leave or sickness), guiding shift teams and ensuring consistent, high-standard resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Supervision: Supervise and inspire care assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager during shift cover.
Clinical Support: Assist the clinical team with medication administration, resident assessments, care plan updates, and regular care reviews.
Person-Centred Care: Uphold the dignity, choices, and individual preferences of residents at all times.
Environment & Safety: Maintain a warm, welcoming, and safe atmosphere across the home.
We are looking for an experienced, warm-hearted care leader with solid clinical knowledge and a strong sense of reliability.
Requirements:
Qualification: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Clinical Knowledge: Proven experience and understanding of clinical care for the elderly.
Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate staff, manage shifts, and communicate clearly.
Flexibility: Willingness to cover day or night shifts on an as-needed basis.
