## The Role: Leading with Purpose

As a Residential Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the residential home. You will be the driving force behind creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where every child feels valued, while supporting and developing your staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Residential Support Workers, including conducting regular supervisions, appraisals, and training.
Operational Excellence: Manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage and guarantee the home operates in strict compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Child-Centred Care: Oversee the planning and delivery of individual care plans, helping young people achieve their personal goals and develop essential life skills.
Safeguarding & Protection: Confidently handle safeguarding concerns, ensuring all incidents are meticulously recorded and reported.
Partnership Building: Maintain and foster positive relationships with external agencies, families, and the local community.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.
Experience: Proven experience working within children's residential services, ideally with prior experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
Knowledge: A robust understanding of safeguarding, child protection policies, and care regulations.
Skills: Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Licence: A full UK driving licence is required.
