Hourly Rate: £18.00 – £20.00 per hour + excellent benefits

As a Swimming Teacher working on behalf of Leisure Solutions Community Trust at Bletchley Leisure Centre, you will deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons following the established Swim England "Learn to Swim" framework.
You will help build water confidence in swimmers of all ages, guiding them from beginner basics all the way to competitive pathways. We offer flexible scheduling so you can contract for as many or as few hours as you want around your personal commitments.
Lesson Delivery: Deliver engaging, structured, and progressive swimming lessons using the Swim England framework.
Confidence Building: Foster water confidence, safety, and core aquatic skills in swimmers of all backgrounds and age groups.
Progress Tracking: Monitor and encourage student development, celebrating achievements as learners progress through their milestones.
Inclusive Environment: Promote a safe, clean, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere for all participants, families, and visitors.
We are looking for a customer-focused, enthusiastic swimming instructor who loves working with people and making a lasting community impact.
Professional Qualifications: Hold either an STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or a Swim England (Previously ASA) Level 2 qualification.
Safety Qualifications: Holding a valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous, but free training can be provided to complete these courses if needed.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a natural talent for engaging positively with children, adults, and families.
Vetting Requirement: Safeguarding checks and a DBS check are required (provided completely free of charge by the trust).
Financial Package: Competitive hourly rate of £18.00 to £20.00 per hour.
