At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting a permanent Registered Nurse (RGN) on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the night clinical care team at Bloomfield Care Home in Bath, Somerset.
In this vital overnight clinical role, you will look after the physical, psychological, and social needs of residents in a modern, supportive care home environment. Relying on your professional judgment to make critical clinical decisions, your duties will range from administering medicines safely and conducting clinical risk assessments to formulating tailored care plans and guiding night care staff with clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Holistic Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality, person-centered nursing care that addresses the physical, mental, and social health needs of residents overnight.
Medication & Governance: Administer medication safely and manage clinical inventory in strict accordance with Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines and NMC standards.
Care Planning & Compliance: Formulate comprehensive care plans, execute detailed risk assessments, and ensure compliance with DoLS/MCA frameworks and statutory CQC standards.
Night Shift Leadership: Supervise, guide, and mentor care assistants on duty, serving as the lead clinical professional during the night shift.
Multidisciplinary Liaison: Communicate effectively with GPs, out-of-hours medical services, district nurses, and family members regarding resident health updates.
Requirements & Qualifications
Professional Registration: Active, unencumbered NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
Clinical Expertise: Up-to-date clinical practice knowledge, medication management experience, and proven care planning capabilities.
Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
