At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting dedicated Bank Activities Assistants on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the team at St Thomas Care Home in Basingstoke.

In this deeply rewarding role, you will help design and deliver imaginative, motivating, and inclusive activities tailored to suit every resident’s interests and abilities. From spending quality time getting to know residents' personal life stories to organizing creative workshops, musical events, and social outings, you will play a vital role in enhancing resident wellbeing, independence, and happiness.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Program Delivery: Assist in planning and running fun, engaging, and varied activity sessions tailored to different physical and cognitive abilities.
Person-Centered Engagement: Get to know residents and their families to build activity programs that reflect individual life histories, hobbies, and personal choices.
Community Connection: Help organize and facilitate events, celebrations, and interactions both within the home and with the wider local community.
Flexible Coverage: Step in on a casual bank basis during peak activity times, holidays, or events to support the vibrant lifestyle of the home.
About You
Attributes: Warm, empathetic, creative, highly organized, and naturally enthusiastic.
Communication & Drive: Infectious energy with the ability to inspire residents, family members, and colleagues to join in on activities.
Experience: Prior experience in activity planning or care settings is ideal but not essential—full training and ongoing support are provided!
