About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bank Residential Senior Carer for flexible day and night placements in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.

In this role, you will lead shifts and supervise a team of care staff to ensure residents receive exceptional, person-centered care. You will take on key clinical and operational duties—from administering medication and liaising with healthcare professionals to updating care plans and maintaining a warm, welcoming environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading care teams on shift, delegating duties, and providing mentorship and supervisions.

• Administering, ordering, and managing medication in compliance with care home protocols.

• Reviewing, updating, and maintaining resident care plans and detailed risk assessments.

• Liaising with external medical professionals, including GPs, district nursing teams, and resident families.

• Upholding resident dignity, preferences, and safety while providing flexible cover for planned or unplanned staff absences across day or night shifts.

About You

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (required).

• Experience: Proven experience working in a residential care setting with demonstrated leadership skills.

• Skills: Strong decision-making abilities, team management, and clear communication skills.
