Where You’ll Be Working: Nightingale Care & Nursing Home in Derby (a CQC-regulated care home).
Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, working two 8-hour shifts per week on a two-week rolling rota:
Week 1: Saturday and Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday
Your Key Responsibilities:
Menu Planning: Collaborate with the home manager and residents to develop creative menu ideas, including themed days and special events.
Dietary Needs: Work closely with the care team to ensure resident nutritional and dietary requirements are met, including modified food textures and allergies.
Kitchen Management: Act as the main point of contact for the kitchen, managing day-to-day stock control and upholding high hygiene standards.
A background working within professional kitchens and an understanding of how to run one effectively.
Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable).
A minimum of 12 months on your legal right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour with On-Demand Pay options.
