About the Role

Kick-start your engineering career with an immersive 12-week summer internship. Working alongside seasoned professionals, you will help design and develop analogue and digital electronics, VHDL code, and embedded/low-level software for advanced electronic systems destined for critical defense, aerospace, and security solutions.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Contribute directly to the full engineering lifecycle—ranging from client engagement to hardware design, testing, and manufacture.

• Implement complex signal processing algorithms in VHDL.

• Assist in designing switch-mode power supplies, working on low-power embedded systems, and developing ruggedized devices for challenging environments.

• Support colleagues in preparing technical pitches and presentations for clients.

• Manage multiple technical assignments independently with guidance and mentorship from experienced peers.

• Carry out vital research, data collection, and technical analysis.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications):

• Academic Background: Must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a minimum of a 2:2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.

• Technical Passion: A strong foundation in core analytical or engineering principles, a collaborative mindset, and an enthusiasm for hands-on hardware and software design.

Security Note: Due to defense and security regulations, all applicants must achieve at least a Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Higher levels of National Security Vetting may apply where required.
