About the Role

Tithe Barn, located in the scenic area of Sellack, Ross-on-Wye, is looking to recruit a dedicated Bank Support Worker to join our team. Our service provides specialist residential support for adults who are autistic or have a learning disability, and who may also present with complex behaviours that challenge.

We take a highly personalised approach, using proven care strategies to help our residents move forward with confidence, develop crucial life skills, and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our compassionate care team, you will play a central role in resident wellbeing. You will work alongside qualified staff to implement individual care plans while promoting dignity, treatment engagement, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Living & Independence: Support residents with personal care and essential daily living skills to foster maximum independence.
Recreational Activities: Assist and accompany residents on fun community outings, including bowling, cinema trips, theatre visits, and swimming.
Practical Assistance: Help residents with shopping, community errands, and day-to-day tasks.
Social & Family Connections: Facilitate and participate in social activities and family visits to encourage active community engagement.
Care Delivery: Assist with the routine implementation of person-centred care and treatment plans under supervision.
