We are currently recruiting a resilient and empathetic Bank Support Worker on behalf of Barchester Healthcare for Jasmine Court Independent Hospital in Waltham Abbey, Essex.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Bank Support Worker at an independent mental health hospital, you will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team to support patients with complex and sometimes challenging behaviors. This casual bank position gives you true working flexibility while ensuring patients receive care delivered with dignity, respect, and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily activities and care, empowering them to live as independently as possible.

• Support the multidisciplinary team in maintaining a safe, calm, and therapeutic hospital environment.

• Engage warmly with patients, using intuition and active listening to provide meaningful emotional support.

• Provide flexible shift cover for annual leave, sickness, or peak periods across day or night shifts.
