Bank Kitchen Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Elysium Healthcare for a Bank Kitchen Assistant to join The Bridge in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, UK.

Working within a specialist neurological rehabilitation and complex care service, you'll support the catering team in preparing nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

Assist chefs with the preparation and serving of meals.
Serve food and beverages to service users, staff and visitors.
Maintain food storage procedures and stock rotation.
Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are cleaned and sanitised.
Follow COSHH, HACCP and food hygiene regulations.
Assist with stock deliveries and kitchen organisation.
Work closely with dietitians and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Maintain a safe, clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role.
Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP principles.
Relevant catering qualification (desirable).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Ability to work flexibly across bank shifts.
