Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit two enthusiastic, dedicated, and outcome-focused Sessional Recovery Workers to join the successful Ealing RISE team.
In this flexible, hands-on role, you will support individuals with substance use needs who often face complex challenges, including unstable housing, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and safeguarding concerns. Working flexibly across diverse settings—from GP surgeries and mental health hubs to supported accommodation—you will provide comprehensive care coordination, assessments, and group workshop facilitation to help service users achieve sustainable change.
Caseload & Care Management: Guide service users from point of entry through their recovery journeys, providing screening, assessment, recovery planning, and onward referrals.
Group Facilitation & Workshops: Design, prepare, and deliver structured content and tailored workshops (such as anger management, sleep disorders, and relationship support) within group settings.
Harm Reduction & Advocacy: Work to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm, promote peer support, self-determination, and social reintegration, and provide advocacy for partnership services.
Multi-Setting In-Reach: Deliver flexible support across various community hubs, maintaining robust information governance and safeguarding standards.
Experience & Knowledge: Strong understanding of substance misuse issues, working knowledge of mental health interventions, and experience working within a similar field.
Group Management Skills: Proven experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics, conflict, or challenging behaviors.
Communication & IT Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with strong IT competency and proactive time-management abilities.
Requirements: Supportive team player committed to service user needs. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check at an enhanced level).
Competitive Sessional Pay: Attractive hourly rate of £20.35.
