About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Bank Kitchen Assistant for flexible day placements in Stockport, Cheshire.
In this role, you will work closely with the kitchen and catering team to deliver healthy, nutritious, and appetizing meals that contribute directly to resident well-being. Providing cover for planned or unplanned staff absences, your daily contributions in the kitchen and dining areas will create a fulfilling culinary experience for everyone in the care home.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the catering team with basic food preparation, plating meals, and serving food.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safe food handling practices across the kitchen.
Operating dishwashers, washing up cookware, and keeping catering areas clean and well-organized.
Helping deliver meals and refreshments, building warm rapport with residents during service.
Providing flexible cover for annual leave, sickness, or peak times on day shifts.
